If you are thinking you might benefit from some support in your life right now, I SO recommend having a call with Jo. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to have someone to talk to who has gone through the same ups and downs that goes along with Rosacea and skin issues. I have learned so much working with Jo but some of the things that top my list are 1. Self-awareness 2. Self-discovery 3. Boundaries (why and how to create them) 4. How to disconnect myself from taking on the emotional rollercoasters of other people 5. Breathing 6. Acceptance 7. Self-love (Because if I don't…who else will??).
During the shit days, Jo was available to help guide me when I needed it most. I think having her available to chat with during our 6+ weeks together was personally the most valuable part of her offering. I loved our calls too, but I learned the most in my darkest, most difficult moments where I could send Jo a text message or a voice memo. It was like having a journal that could write back :)
You might think you can do some of this work on your own (I thought that at first too), but trust me, we are our own worst enemy sometimes. It's totally ok to ask for help if you feel lost and down about your skin and whatever else is gnawing at you in your life and holding you back.
I'm so thankful to have found Jo and this community. Don't be afraid to speak out about your struggles. It's in speaking out that you learn the most about yourself and find ways to heal.
